Nord A1
The accumulated research shows that 57.48% of notifications, approximately 150 billion per day, are not deemed worthy of the interruption they cause, and the global population is estimated to waste a staggering ∼69 million hours each day on reacting to irrelevant matters that get immediately dismissed. Nord A1’s novel content filtering solution reclaims an average of 104 effective minutes per day for each user, translating to a 48.6% boost of focused time during an 8-hour workday. The solution also combats stress and anxiety, physical exertion, and reduced mental capacity, which improves the current rule-based technology that today is used by approximately 4.74 billion people.
The company’s primary delivery model is Software as a Service (SaaS) directed at enterprise-level B2B clients, including wearable- and smartphone companies. The Total Addressable Market (TAM) has a value of $522B, with a conservatively estimated Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) of $11.3B, which is projected to grow alongside the company's traction. Besides the intellectual property, Nord A1’s main competitive advantage stems from the environmentally friendly and cost-efficient data processing of the proprietary AI that is dozens of times cheaper than potential competitors leveraging OpenAI’s GPT-4, which is partly due to its narrowed specialization and purpose.
Nord A1 was founded by Robin Schultz in 2020, and comprises a gender-balanced and diverse team specialists from companies such as Intel, Sony, Fossil, and Oracle, including a senior board of directors with experience managing companies with between 20 million euros to 1 billion euros in revenue.
